Revolution in Interfaith Education- Seven Ministers on Stage at Vienna

Dear friends,

We are creating history here at the Vienna Conference of the King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Centre  (KAICIID), where seven ministers from Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Spain, Pakistan, Germany, Ethiopia and Austria were declaring their proposals for interfaith education in schools and colleges. It was an exhilarating experience to hear from all of them, as it proclaims  a new era of intercultural understanding and cooperation, for which we have been struggling all these years. The future is bright. Pranam to all stalwarts who walked before us and all who follow the footsteps of the interfaith pioneers. Every drop of sweat will be counted. Every attempt accounted for.

I am particularly happy that this very important session with these excellencies was chaired by Mohammed Abu-Nimer (American College), who is a member of the URI Conflict Resolution Satellite, in which I am a member, too.
