TOWARDS PEACE

It is interesting to know how much money we spend on war as against peace. How many Universities produce peace engineers? Let us extol the role of Rotary Club which gave scholarship to 400 students to pursue peace studies in different parts of the world. If all brainies  are groomed as missile engineers, who will protect our Earth from perennial peril? Let us revamp our education system so as to train more seers and seekers than those who foster destruction and death. Peace is possible. Let us relie on the cosmic order than on the wisdom of those who propagate war. The new ideology "war for peace" is a misnomer.

Fifth International bi-annual Interfaith Conference on Holy Books

Dear Friends,

We are happy to announce the Fifth International bi-annual Interfaith Conference on Holy Books in the intertextuality series, scheduled to be held here in Kerala, South India from 30th September to 2^nd October, 2013. The topic for this year is HOLY BOOKS AND LIFE AFTER LIFE. A book will be published with all papers that are to be presented at the seminar. Program will be at Karickam International Public School (KIPS).

Articles to be included in the book are to be received before 30^th April, 2013. (Not more than 10 A4 size pages).

All our guests will be comfortably accommodated in families. All participants  will get a chance to participate in the UN Non-Violence Day Peace Rally also on the 2^ndOctober (Gandhi Jayanthi). Cosmic Community Centre CC and Dr. Alexander Mar Thoma Centre for Dialogue will be the local organizers.

Registration fees will be 1000 Indian rupees (10 U.S dollars), including cost of the book. Hospitality and local transport will be free. Delegates have to find their own travel means. You are requested to confirm your participation at the earliest.
